Three-way interview by Future DiverCities with my Digital Calligraffiti collaborators Drury Brennan and Hamza Abu Ayyash where we discuss how this hybrid art project brings together calligraphy, graffiti, and new media to promote diversity in public space.
The Infl3ctor was used as part of the Digital Calligraffiti workshop at TINCON (the Teenageinternetwork Convention) in Berlin. The workshop provided the young participants (13-21 years old) the opportunity to learn calligraphy from master calligrapher Drury Brennan and project their messages on the walls of Kraftwerk using the Infl3ctor table.
Dune Field Modulator was presented in the Dark Habitats Dark Ecology exhibition at SPEKTRUM Berlin. The exhibition featured one of the original light objects used in the Gobi desert in Mongolia as well as video documentation of the work.
The exhibition was curated by Alfredo Cinnameo and I gave a talk during the conference moderated by Matthias Frisch.
